The Daniel Defense DD5 V3 is a 7.62 NATO AR-10 configured with a 16-inch cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined S2W barrel and a user-adjustable intermediate-length gas system. It features fully ambidextrous controls, a GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, and a superfinished DLC-coated buffered BCG with a dual-ejector bolt. The rifle is in excellent condition and includes a free-float DD5 Rail 15.0 M-LOK handguard with a T-marked full-length Picatinny top rail.

The DD5 V3 is built on a 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set with a Type III hard-coat anodized black finish. The upper carries the DD5V3 variant marking and an oval "7.62" stamp, while the lower is marked "Model: DD5 • Cal: Multi." The rifle accepts SR-25 pattern magazines and has a listed capacity of 20+1.
The 16-inch proprietary-steel barrel uses Daniel Defense’s S2W profile and is cold-hammer-forged and chrome-lined for durability. It is threaded 5/8x24 and fitted with the Daniel Defense Superior Suppression Device muzzle device. The 1:10 twist rate supports a wide range of 7.62/.308 projectiles.
The gas system is intermediate length and user-adjustable, paired with a superfinished DLC-coated buffered BCG and a dual-ejector bolt. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the magazine release and manual safety, and the rifle ships with the GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle.
The DD5 Rail 15.0 free-float M-LOK handguard is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and features a T-marked full-length top Picatinny rail and a robust 4-bolt receiver/handguard interface. Furniture includes a collapsible polymer stock with QD socket, textured buttpad, and approximately 12–15 inches of adjustable length of pull, along with a Daniel Defense textured pistol grip with Soft-Touch overmolding. Approximate weight is 8.3 lb with an overall length of about 33 3/8–37 inches. No sights are installed.
