This full-size Echelon pairs a 4.5 in hammer-forged barrel with Springfield Armory's U-Dot sights and a billet-machined steel slide in a durable Melonite finish. It features the Variable Interface System (VIS) direct-mount optics interface, a serialized stainless-steel Central Operating Group (COG) chassis, and a polymer frame with aggressive stippling and interchangeable backstraps. Capacity is 20+1 and two factory 20-round magazines are included.

The Echelon’s VIS direct-mount optics interface is machined into the slide and supported by the included mounting accessories kit, giving the buyer a ready-to-configure platform without additional base plates. The slide also adds forward and rear serrations plus flared rear ears for confident manipulation, all finished in Melonite for corrosion resistance.
Sight alignment is fast and intuitive with the U-Dot system: a tritium/luminescent front dot and a black serrated U-notch rear with a ledge for one-handed racking. The non-threaded 4.5 in barrel is hammer-forged for durability and consistent accuracy.
A serialized stainless-steel COG chassis forms the heart of the pistol, set into a polymer frame with aggressive stippling and interchangeable backstraps to tune the grip. A MIL-STD-1913/Picatinny accessory rail supports lights or lasers as desired. The pistol is marked GENESEO IL and is produced in collaboration with HS Produkt in Croatia.
This specific configuration is the 4.5 in U-Dot, non-threaded, no manual safety model (EC9459B-U). It is a recent release in the Echelon series and has been recognized with the NTOA Member Tested and Recommended Gold ranking.
