This Sig Sauer MCX SPEAR LT is a recent-release, full-size 5.56 NATO rifle built on the buffer-tube-less MCX architecture with an internal recoil system, allowing firing with the stock folded. It features a cold-hammer-forged, nitrided 16 inch barrel with 1/2x28 threads and a factory SIG three-prong flash hider, fully ambidextrous controls, and a coyote/tan anodized finish across the receivers, handguard, and stock body. Installed Magpul accessories and an included 30-round PMAG add practical value.

The MCX SPEAR LT platform uses Sig Sauer's short-stroke gas piston system and an internal recoil assembly. This buffer-tube-less design enables reliable operation with the side-folding stock deployed or folded, adding flexibility in storage and carry without compromising function.
The 16 inch carbon-steel barrel is cold-hammer-forged and nitrided for durability. It has a 1:7 twist rate for common 5.56 NATO/223 Rem projectile lengths and comes threaded 1/2x28 with a factory SIG three-prong flash hider.
A two-position adjustable gas regulator is accessible through a window in the aluminum M-LOK handguard, making settings changes straightforward. The rifle includes a continuous MIL-STD-1913 top rail for mounting sights or other compatible accessories as needed.
Ergonomics are fully ambidextrous, including the safety, magazine release, and bolt catch. A flat-blade match trigger, coyote/tan anodized aluminum receivers, and a side-folding, skeletonized stock with a push-button hinge, rubber buttpad, and a 12.75 inch length of pull round out the package. The rifle is STANAG/AR-pattern magazine compatible and has a capacity of 30+1. Sights: none.
