The 26 inch heavy-profile barrel is fluted to reduce weight and aid cooling, while its 1:8 twist is tailored for 6.5 Creedmoor projectiles. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with a multi-port brake to help manage recoil and maintain sight picture between shots.
The action uses a spiral-fluted bolt with an oversized, textured knob for confident manipulation. A Picatinny rail segment is installed on the receiver for mounting optics, and a safety indicator provides immediate visual status.
The Cadex Defence chassis delivers wide-ranging fitment with an adjustable cheekpiece, adjustable recoil pad, a hinged butt assembly, and an integrated bag rider. Length of pull adjusts from 13.5 to 14.5 inches, and the pistol grip carries the Cadex logo. The rifle presents a two-tone finish with an olive/green chassis and black receiver/barrel assembly.
Feeding is via detachable box magazines with a 10+1 capacity, and the forend is the robust Cadex Defence chassis design. Factory markings note Canadian manufacture in 2023 with U.S. importer CADEX DEFENCE, Swanton, VT, along with caliber and twist designation on the barrel. The receiver is marked "CADEX CDX-SS SEVEN S.T.A.R.S." with the encircled 7 logo.
