The receiver is factory-marked "Zombie," "CAL MULTI," and "MOD SL 15," with manufacturer marks "Spikes Tactical, Apopka, FL, U.S.A." Selector markings read "DEAD - LIVE - UNDEAD." The upper is a flat-top design with a detachable A2 carry handle installed.
Sighting equipment includes a fixed A2 front sight base and an A2 aperture rear sight in the carry handle. An open reflex red-dot sight is mounted to the carry handle for rapid aiming. The handguard is a vented quad-rail aluminum unit with a full-length top Picatinny rail, and a clamp-on UTG bipod is attached.
The 16-inch steel barrel is threaded and fitted with a three-port muzzle brake/compensator. Operation is semi-automatic with direct impingement, and a manual safety selector is fitted.
For compliance-focused configuration, the rifle features a fixed stock, a Strike Industries featureless fin-style pistol grip, and a compliance-style magazine release. Capacity is 10+1, and three 10-round magazines are included; the metal STANAG magazine has been altered for reduced capacity.
Extras include a .22 LR conversion bolt assembly with a magazine adapter and a spare 5.56/.223 bolt carrier group, adding flexibility to the package right out of the box.
