The Smith & Wesson M&P FPC is a recent-release 9mm folding carbine that pairs compact storage with carbine-length performance. Its side-folding barrel and handguard assembly reduces overall length to about 16.4 in while retaining top-rail optic zero, and the fixed polymer buttstock stores two spare magazines. This example comes in very good condition with five magazines, an angled foregrip installed, and both the OEM soft carry bag and the original case.

The folding architecture is the standout feature: the barrel/handguard assembly folds to the side for a compact ~16.4 in stow length and unfolds to an overall length of about 30.4 in. The design is intended to retain top-rail optic zero through the fold/unfold cycle and weighs approximately 5.0 lb unloaded.
The 16.25 in barrel is 4140 steel and threaded 1/2x28, with a 1:10 twist for common 9mm loads. Operation is simple blowback in semi-automatic, with a manual cross-bolt safety and a left-side ejection port.
Furniture is purpose-built: a polymer M-LOK handguard pairs with a full-length top Picatinny rail, and the fixed polymer stock integrates a QD sling cup and storage for two spare magazines. The M&P-textured pistol grip accepts interchangeable palmswell backstraps, and length of pull is 15.0 in.
Feeding is flexible and familiar. The carbine accepts M&P double-stack 9mm pistol magazines and has a stated maximum capacity of 23+1. This example includes four 23-round magazines and one 17-round magazine.
Construction details include an aluminum frame/receiver and a black finish. The rifle is made in the USA and ships without sights, leaving the full-length rail open for the user's preferred setup.
