The MT6530 configuration centers on a 16-inch lightweight (pencil) barrel and a carbine-length gas system, delivering the classic carbine handling profile. The A-frame front sight base is present and includes a bayonet lug, consistent with the Match Target configuration. A three-slot flash hider is installed; this is a non-factory addition aligned with the ban-era MT6530 style.
Sighting is via a fixed A2 carry handle rear sight with an elevation drum, adjustable for windage and elevation, paired with a fixed front post. The upper receiver bears the "C H" forging code on the carry handle and includes an integral case deflector and ejection port cover. The STANAG magazine interface supports standard pattern magazines.
The lower receiver shows the CSL serial prefix and features a pinned sear block cross pin above the selector, a known characteristic of the period. Controls are classic AR-15, including a manual safety selector. Operation is semi-automatic with a direct impingement system, chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 30+1 capacity.
