This Rock Island Armory M1911 A1 GI Standard FS is a full-size .45 ACP with a 5-inch Government barrel, classic GI sights, and a durable Parkerized matte finish. It is in very good condition with an excellent, mirror-bright bore. The pistol features steel construction, GI-pattern controls, and period-correct markings, and it comes with its factory case, manual, and one 7-round magazine.

The GI Standard FS configuration delivers the traditional 1911 experience: a Government-length 5-inch barrel, fixed GI-style sights, and a short guide rod with a checkered spring plug. The pistol is chambered in .45 ACP and uses a single-stack 7-round magazine for a 7+1 capacity.
Construction is all steel with a Parkerized matte dark gray/black finish on both frame and slide. The slide carries fine vertical rear serrations, while the frame wears smooth hardwood grip panels for a classic GI look and feel.
Controls and operating features include single-action, recoil-operated function, a short solid trigger, a checkered spur hammer, and both a thumb safety and grip safety. The front sight is a staked GI-style blade, paired with a low fixed GI-style rear notch.
Factory markings include "M1911 A1 - FS" on the model line and the Rock Island Armory crest/logo on the left side of the slide. Import and proof markings are "APINTL-PAHRUMP NV" and "ACP PHILIPPINES." This pistol is manufactured in the Philippines and corresponds to RIA part number 51421.
