Hand-built in small batches in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the Alchemy Custom Weaponry Quantico HiCap is a full-size, 2011-style 9mm built on a 1911 platform with a steel frame and polymer grip module. It combines a hand-fit, bushing-fit match 5 inch barrel with a 4140 carbon steel frame and receiver, a factory RMR Optic Footprint on the slide, and a 17+1 double-stack capacity that accepts Staccato-pattern magazines. This example comes with two 17-round magazines and an ACW soft case.

The Quantico HiCap uses a 2011-style modular architecture: a 4140 carbon steel frame mated to a polymer double-stack grip module. The grip features aggressive checkering and a flared magwell to speed reloads while maintaining secure control.
The Government-length 5 inch barrel is bushing-fit, hand-fit, and match, paired with a GI-style recoil spring plug. This build emphasizes precise barrel-to-slide lockup and traditional 1911 single-action-only operation.
Controls are set up for duty-ready handling: ambidextrous thumb safeties, a beavertail grip safety with raised pad, a skeletonized curved trigger, and a skeletonized commander-style hammer. The dustcover integrates an accessory/light rail, and the slide has rear serrations only.
Sights are straightforward and durable, with a fixed serrated rear and a red fiber-optic front. The slide includes an RMR Optic Footprint (Trijicon RMR pattern) to mount compatible micro red dots when desired.
Capacity is 17+1 with compatibility for Staccato-pattern double-stack magazines. This pistol is hand-built by ACW in the United States and reflects the company’s small-batch craftsmanship and attention to fit and function.
