The 30 inch ventilated rib barrel provides a long sighting plane with longitudinal rib matting and a single bead front sight. The fixed full choke and 3 inch Magnum chambering make it suitable for 2 3/4 inch or 3 inch shells, as marked on the barrel. The listed capacity is 2+1, retained by the standard knurled magazine cap without an extension.
The steel receiver is marked "Remington MAGNUM Wingmaster MODEL 870," pairing with "12 GA. MAGNUM FOR 3 IN. SHELLS" on the barrel. The receiver carries an aftermarket camouflage wrap, and the barrel exterior has been refinished in green paint. The Model 870 design uses dual action bars for smooth cycling.
The wood buttstock and forend show the Wingmaster’s classic styling, with a gloss finish, impressed checkering, fleur-de-lis style panels, and an inset oval black bird medallion. A ventilated "WHITE LINE" recoil pad is installed, and the length of pull measures 13.5 inches with white-line spacers.
Produced in the United States, this Wingmaster Magnum reflects earlier production practices identified by the "S" serial prefix, while the "M" suffix denotes the 12-gauge Magnum receiver. It maintains the traditional 870 layout with a single bead sight, fixed choke muzzle, and standard cap configuration.
