The compact-length P220 format delivers .45 ACP performance in a shorter 3.9-inch barrel and compact frame that uses a single-stack detachable magazine. The slide is finished in matte black with rear-only vertical serrations and a clear "SIG SAUER P220" model rollmark, while the barrel hood is marked ".45 Auto."
This example uses a DA/SA action with a decocking lever and an external spurred hammer. Controls include a push-button magazine release. The right side of the frame is marked "SIG SAUER INC. EXETER-NH-USA," consistent with the included factory documentation.
The aluminum alloy frame wears black textured polymer grip panels and integrates a SIG-style accessory rail on the dust cover with three scalloped slots for mounting compatible accessories. The overall finish presents cleanly in matte black.
Sighting is handled by fixed, dovetailed iron sights: a white-dot front blade paired with a dovetailed rear notch. These are set low and are robust for everyday use.
Included is one SIG Sauer .45 Compact stainless steel magazine marked accordingly, providing a 6-round capacity for a total of 6+1. The factory red cardboard box has a matching serial number label, and the case label is dated 20-DEC-2012.
