This Anderson Manufacturing AM-15 is a 5.56 NATO AR-pattern carbine configured with a 16 inch, 1:7 twist barrel, a carbine-length gas system, and a threaded muzzle with an A2-type birdcage flash hider. It features a flat-top A3/A4 upper with T-marked Picatinny rail segments (T4–T12), an A2 F-marked front sight base, and a Magpul MBUS flip-up rear sight. Magpul MOE FDE furniture is installed, and one Mission First Tactical MWS 30-round magazine is included. The AM-15 line was later discontinued following Ruger’s 2025 asset purchase.

The 16 inch barrel is marked "5.56 NATO 1/7" and pairs a fast 1:7 twist with a carbine-length gas system for reliable cycling. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with an A2-type birdcage flash hider.
The flat-top A3/A4 upper provides a T-marked Picatinny rail with segments T4–T12. Sighting is handled by an A2 F-marked, pinned front sight base with an integral sling loop, matched to a Magpul MBUS rear flip-up sight.
Magpul MOE FDE furniture includes a collapsible carbine stock, carbine-length drop-in handguard, and MOE pistol grip. The listed length of pull is 13.75. Controls include a manual safety with SAFE/FIRE selector markings.
The rifle has a matte black finish and is made in the United States. It accepts standard 5.56x45 magazines and comes with one Mission First Tactical MWS 30-round polymer magazine. The AM-15 line was later discontinued following Ruger’s 2025 asset purchase.
