What’s Included
- Benelli Super Black Eagle SBE I 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun
- Installed extended screw-in choke tube
The SBE I is the original Super Black Eagle design, built around Benelli's inertia-driven semi-automatic action. This example is configured for right-hand ejection and uses a rotating bolt head. The bolt is marked "BENELLI ARMI SYSTEM," reflecting the early-pattern internal design.
The 28 inch barrel has a vent rib and is ported near the muzzle. It uses Benelli's screw-in choke system and is fitted with an extended choke tube. The combination of rib and porting provides a clear sighting plane and effective gas venting at the muzzle.
Chambered for 3.5 inch shells, this shotgun also accepts 2.75 and 3 inch loads, offering broad ammunition flexibility. Capacity is 3 rounds as configured.
The synthetic stock is finished in black with checkering for grip. It includes a sling swivel stud and a ventilated rubber recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches.
Italian proof marks are present, including PSF and the BM date code indicating 1999 production. The receiver bears the Benelli U.S.A. Corp., Accokeek, MD import mark. Origin is Italy, with features and configuration consistent with late-1990s, first-generation SBE I production.
