The action is a percussion caplock with an external hammer and a hooked breech, allowing the barrel to be removed from the tang for maintenance. The double-set adjustable triggers provide a crisp, tunable release typical of Thompson/Center Hawken rifles.
The walnut half-stock includes a cheek piece, brass patchbox, and a crescent buttplate.
