This Taurus TX22 Gen 2 T.O.R.O. stands out as a full-size, American-made .22 LR with a 4.1 inch steel barrel and a hard-coat anodized slide featuring an optic cut with a cover plate. It comes well-equipped with five factory 16-round magazines, an additional recoil spring, a thread adapter, and the factory box and manual. An installed wrap-around adhesive grip tape provides added traction without altering the factory frame.

The Gen 2 T.O.R.O. configuration provides an optic-cut slide with a cover plate, paired with front and rear slide serrations for confident manipulation. The slide wears a hard-coat anodized finish, and the barrel is steel with a recessed crown and non-threaded muzzle.
The polymer frame is full-size and includes a frame rail for accessories. Controls are straightforward with a left-side magazine release. Safety features include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a bladed trigger safety.
Sights consist of a high-visibility green front dot set in a dovetail and a black rear notch, delivering a clean, fast sight picture. Capacity is 16+1 rounds, and this example ships with five factory magazines to keep you running longer between reloads.
Mechanically, the pistol uses a blowback, striker-fired, single-action-only system built for .22 LR. The frame is molded with a Bainbridge, GA marking, the barrel is marked ".22 LR," and the serial on the frame matches the box-end label for clean provenance. An additional recoil spring and a thread adapter are included in the package.
