This S&W Model 629-6 Classic is an N-frame stainless steel .44 Magnum revolver with a 6.5-inch heavy full-lug barrel and a clean, feature-rich setup. It comes with a pinned HI-VIZ orange fiber-optic front sight, an adjustable rear sight, and a brushed/satin stainless finish throughout. The fluted six-shot cylinder carries a fully shrouded ejector rod, and the revolver accepts .44 Special in addition to .44 Magnum, offering useful versatility.

The 6.5-inch heavy barrel with full-length underlug and serrated top rib provides a solid, well-balanced profile, while the pinned HI-VIZ orange fiber-optic front sight pairs with an adjustable black square-notch rear for a clear sight picture. Barrel roll marks include "629 Classic" and ".44 MAGNUM."
Construction is all stainless steel: frame, barrel, cylinder, and receiver are finished in brushed/satin stainless. The fluted six-shot cylinder features a fully shrouded ejector rod, and the factory S&W logos appear on the sideplate and grip medallions.
The revolver operates in double-action/single-action with a smooth-faced trigger and a checkered hammer spur. An internal lock with keyhole above the cylinder latch is present, consistent with the -6 variant.
Ergonomics are supported by a black rubber finger-groove monogrip with S&W logo. Chambered in .44 Remington Magnum, it also accepts .44 Special, offering flexibility in ammunition choice. Made in the U.S.A. in Springfield, Massachusetts.
