The Arsenal SAM5 is a Bulgarian-made, milled-receiver 5.56mm NATO AK-pattern rifle built with a hot-die hammer-forged and milled steel receiver and a cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined 16.3 in barrel. It features a 14x1 mm LH threaded muzzle with a multi-port brake, a standard AK side optics rail on the right side of the receiver, and durable polymer furniture marked US. Overall length is about 36.5 inches, with weight at about 8 lb, and capacity is 20+1.

This SAM5 uses a hot-die hammer-forged and milled steel receiver with the Bulgarian-style lightening cut. The long-stroke gas piston system, 90-degree gas block with a separate front sight base, and right-side safety/selector retain the classic AK operating layout while chambering the 5.56x45 cartridge.
The 16.3 in cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel is threaded 14x1 mm LH and fitted with an AK-pattern multi-port brake secured by a front detent. A cleaning rod is installed beneath the barrel. The 1:7 twist is appropriate for common 5.56x45 bullet weights.
Sighting equipment includes a protected front post and a tangent rear sight marked to 800 m. The receiver carries the standard AK side optics rail on the right side for compatible side-mounted optics, offering a straightforward mounting interface if desired.
Polymer furniture includes a fixed stock with a bottom sling swivel, ribbed polymer handguards, and a polymer pistol grip, with US molded into the lower handguard and grip. Overall length is about 36.5 inches, weight is about 8 lb, and the rifle feeds from the included 20-round magazine for a 20+1 capacity.
Markings include Made in BULGARIA and Arsenal Las Vegas NEV. U.S.A. import information. The magazine body is marked cal. 5.56x45 with witness marks at 10, 15, and 20 rounds.
