The CK-PRO uses billet 7075-T6 receivers with an integrated trigger guard and a flared magwell for smooth magazine changes. The upper is a slick-side design with a shell deflector and no forward assist, and both receivers wear a factory in-house black Cerakote finish.
The 10.5 inch 5.56mm NATO barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a multi-port brake/compensator. A carbine-length gas system is specified for this configuration, delivering reliable cycling with the short barrel format.
Cobalt's S.I.M.S. self-indexing semi-monolithic free-float handguard is constructed from 6061 aluminum and provides M-LOK compatibility along with integrated QD sling sockets. A continuous Picatinny top rail on the upper and short 12 o'clock rail sections on the handguard offer clean alignment for accessories.
Ambidextrous controls include an extended-lever charging handle and an ambidextrous safety selector. Ergonomics are enhanced with a B5 Systems pistol grip and an SB Tactical adjustable brace featuring a QD sling socket. The pistol uses a STANAG-pattern magazine system with a 30+1 stated capacity, and the factory reference weight is approximately 5.9 lb.
