The Legion SAO R2 configuration delivers a single-action-only, hammer-fired system with a flat-faced trigger and ambidextrous manual safety, and it omits the decocking lever as expected of the SAO setup. The aluminum-alloy frame wears the Legion Gray finish and pairs with textured G10-style grips bearing Legion medallions for positive purchase.
The slide is finished in matching Legion Gray and includes front and rear serrations, an optic cut with a cover plate, and the LEGION logo on the top. The R2/PRO interface is compatible with SIG ROMEO1PRO/ROMEO2 and the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, giving straightforward mounting options when an optic is desired.
Factory X-RAY3 tritium 3-dot day/night sights are installed, with a high-visibility green front ring and tritium rear, providing a bright aiming reference in varied light. An extended beavertail and a checkered front strap contribute to consistent control under recoil.
The dust cover integrates a four-slot accessory rail for lights or lasers, and the pistol retains the classic P226 full-size proportions with a 4.4 inch barrel and a 15+1 capacity. Manufacture marking indicates Newington, New Hampshire, USA.
