This U.S.-made Soviet Arms Spiker is a recent, domestic reproduction of the classic Chinese Type 56 "spiker" configuration, complete with an integral underfolding triangular spike bayonet and hooded front sight base. It features a stamped, dimpled receiver, smooth top cover, and a 16-inch threaded barrel with thread protector. Chambered in 7.62x39, it presents in good overall condition with a bright, mirror bore.

Built as a faithful Type 56-style AK-pattern rifle, this Spiker incorporates hallmark features: the integral underfolding triangular spike bayonet, hooded front sight base, smooth (ribless) top cover, and a stamped steel receiver with magazine well dimples. It is marked MADE IN USA and SOVIET ARMS WEST COLUMBIA, SC, with model and caliber markings on the receiver.
Optics are set up and ready with a Primary Arms SLx MD-20 red dot mounted on an M2-B forward gas-tube rail. The iron sights remain in place with a hooded front post and tangent rear sight. This pattern omits a left-side optics rail; the included gas-tube rail provides the forward mounting solution.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a thread protector. The action is semi-automatic, gas-operated, long-stroke piston, and the rifle is chambered in 7.62x39 with a 30+1 capacity. One curved steel AK-pattern magazine is included.
Furniture consists of a fixed hardwood stock with an orange/blonde finish, a wood lower handguard with bayonet channel, and a checkered wood grip. The charging handle is polished, and the bolt carrier is left in the white (polished). Length of pull measures 12.25 inches, and a khaki web sling is installed.
