The LR-308 platform pairs .308 Win chambering with a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system. This rifle uses a 16.5 inch threaded barrel with a low-profile gas block and an Epsilon 762 brake/compensator to manage muzzle rise. The barrel is marked "DPMS 7.62 x 51," and the lower shows a Huntsville, Alabama maker marking.
The upper follows the LR-308 pattern and lacks a forward assist while retaining a dust cover. A continuous 12-o'clock Picatinny rail runs across the receiver and the HERA aluminum free-float M-LOK handguard, providing uninterrupted mounting space. No fixed sights are installed.
Controls and ergonomics are enhanced with an Aero Precision Breach ambidextrous charging handle and an extended bolt-release lever. A flat trigger with a gold-finished shoe provides a distinct feel. A manual safety is present.
The RAPS adjustable precision stock includes QD sling sockets and is finished in tan to match the Magpul pistol grip. The length of pull measures 15.0 inches. The rifle accepts SR-25/DPMS-pattern detachable magazines and comes with one 20-round steel magazine. A rail-mounted bipod is installed.
