What’s Included
- Zastava M59 SKS-pattern semi-automatic rifle
- Fixed 10-round SKS box magazine (installed)
- Black ribbed polymer upper handguard with full-length Picatinny/Weaver rail (installed)
This carbine appears to be a cross between Zastava and Norinco parts. The receiver is Serbian, identifiable by the serial format and its suffix, while the hardwood stock and the front-sight assembly are Chinese Type 56 components. The result is a practical, mixed-origin SKS-pattern build centered on a Zastava M59-family receiver.
The barrel measures 16.5 in, shorter than typical Yugoslav M59/M59/66 carbines. It has a plain crowned muzzle with no grenade-launcher hardware. The rifle is set up without a bayonet or bayonet lug, and the cleaning rod is not installed.
Sights consist of an SKS tangent rear leaf graduated 1–10, enhanced by a Yugoslav-pattern tritium folding element, paired with a hooded post front that does not have a tritium insert. The action is the SKS-standard gas-operated, short-stroke piston system with a tilting-bolt.
The rifle retains a blued finish and a hardwood stock with a sling swivel on the toe. The upper handguard is an aftermarket black ribbed metal unit with a full-length Picatinny/Weaver rail. The buttstock bears a stamped number on the right side. Capacity is the standard fixed 10-round SKS box magazine, and the length of pull measures 12.5 in.
