The M4's Auto-Regulating Gas-Operated (ARGO) dual-piston system is built to handle a broad range of loads. The barrel is marked for 2-3/4 in or 3 in shells, and the gas system is designed for dependable cycling with both.
Its 18.5 in steel barrel features a chrome-plated bore and is threaded for internal screw-in chokes. A Modified (M) choke is installed, providing a practical constriction right out of the box.
Sighting is set up with an LPA ghost-ring rear protected by sturdy ears and a wing-protected front post. An integral MIL-STD-1913/Picatinny rail is machined into the receiver for mounting optics or accessories as needed.
