The A391 Xtrema2 uses a gas-operated, rotating-bolt action designed to be self-cleaning and self-compensating. It is chambered for 3.5" 12 gauge shells and has a 3+1 capacity, giving the shooter broad load flexibility.
The barrel features Beretta's Optima-Bore with a lengthened forcing cone and is steel-shot rated. A ventilated rib provides a clear sighting plane, and the barrel is threaded for the Optima-Choke-Plus system. This shotgun includes a full set of flush-fit Optima-Choke-Plus tubes for tailoring patterns.
The synthetic stock and forend incorporate rubberized inlays for secure handling. The stock includes a Gel-Tek recoil pad, length-of-pull spacers, and an integrated recoil-reduction system to help manage recoil and fit. Textured gray grip inserts add additional traction at the grip.
The receiver is a black-anodized aluminum alloy, and the metal components benefit from Beretta's Aqua corrosion-resistant treatment. A left-side magazine cut-off control adds practical utility when changing loads or unloading.
This example is configured with a green fiber-optic front sight for fast sight acquisition on the ventilated rib. It also includes replacement light pipes to fine-tune the sight picture.
