This is a first-generation Smith & Wesson M&P9 (Original Series 1.0) full-size pistol with a two-tone look: a black Melonite-treated stainless slide over an FDE polymer frame. It features a 4.25-inch barrel, 17+1 capacity, and S&W's sear-deactivation lever that allows takedown without pulling the trigger. The pistol includes two 17-round magazines and a hybrid IWB holster.

The M&P9 1.0 full-size pairs a stainless steel slide and barrel with a durable Melonite treatment, giving it a black finish that contrasts the FDE polymer frame. An embedded stainless-steel chassis reinforces the frame for stability and longevity.
This striker-fired pistol uses Smith & Wesson's hinged trigger and a sear-deactivation lever, enabling disassembly without pulling the trigger. It does not have a manual thumb safety and does not use a magazine disconnect.
Controls and sighting features are straightforward and duty-focused. The slide has fish-scale rear serrations and an external extractor. Sights are dovetailed iron sights with an orange-dot front and a plain-notch rear. A loaded-chamber viewport provides a quick visual check.
The 4.25-inch barrel and full-size grip deliver a 17+1 capacity, with interchangeable backstraps for fit adjustment. A 3-slot accessory rail supports lights or other compatible accessories. The slide has no optics cut. Made in the USA.
