The LE6720 configuration centers on a lightweight, threaded 16 inch pencil barrel marked "C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7" with a 1:7 twist rate, optimized for a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles. It uses a carbine-length gas system and a direct impingement action, capped with an A2-pattern birdcage flash suppressor. The front sight base is the forged A-frame style with bayonet lug and sling swivel, secured by taper pins.
Up top, the A4 flat-top receiver carries a T-marked Picatinny rail with T4–T12 index markings visible, paired with a folding rear aperture sight. The carbine-length ribbed polymer handguards have round vent holes and are fitted with a round delta ring. This rifle accepts STANAG pattern magazines and uses a manual safety selector.
