The Stealth Arms Platypus Commander blends a 1911 operating system with double-stack 9mm capacity and Glock 17-magazine compatibility. This two-tone example pairs a carbon-steel slide with a 7075-T6 aluminum frame and a 4.25" 416R stainless bushing barrel. The slide is directly milled for the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint and comes with a cover plate installed.

Built on the Platypus series Commander platform, this pistol uses a 4.25" bushing-barrel configuration in 416R stainless steel for durability and accuracy. The carbon-steel slide and 7075-T6 aluminum frame create a balanced, two-tone package with a black slide over a light tan frame. A full-length Picatinny/1913 accessory rail adds straightforward light or accessory mounting.
The magazine system accepts Glock 17-pattern 9mm magazines with a nominal 17+1 capacity. This pistol includes two 17-round Glock factory magazines with extended base pads. A flared magwell funnel speeds reloads and supports consistent magazine seating.
The slide is cut for the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro optic footprint and includes a cover plate installed; the factory torque spec is 25 in-lb. Sights are set up with a green fiber-optic front and a plain serrated rear in Novak-style dovetails, providing a bright, fast front sight picture and a clean rear notch.
Controls are fully ambidextrous with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with memory pad. The flat-faced, skeletonized trigger and skeletonized loop hammer support a crisp single-action feel. Front and rear cocking serrations aid manipulation, and textured scale/oval pattern grip panels with index pads offer secure purchase.
