The barrel is chrome-moly steel with 5R rifling and a 1:10 RH twist, cold hammer-forged for consistency. It is threaded 5/8x24 and fitted from the factory with a multi-port muzzle brake. The pre-fit barrel system with barrel-nut architecture supports easier re-barreling when needed.
The action uses a three-lug bolt with approximately a 70-degree lift, dual cocking cams, and a large bolt knob for confident manipulation.
