The A300 Ultima Patrol features a self-cleaning gas system with a compensating exhaust valve, designed to keep the action running smoothly across 2 3/4 in and 3 in shells. Right-side ejection and a cross-bolt safety provide a familiar control layout, while the aluminum-alloy receiver helps manage overall weight and balance.
Controls are enlarged for confident manipulation: an oversized, knurled charging handle and an enlarged bolt-release paddle promote quick, positive operation. The length of pull is set at 13.0 in to support fast shouldering and squared stances.
Sighting is straightforward and durable with a protected ghost-ring rear and a raised orange fiber-optic front sight with protective wings. A receiver-top Picatinny rail offers a solid mounting surface when an optic is desired. The extended tubular magazine runs to the muzzle and is secured with a polymer barrel/magazine clamp that integrates a forward sling-attachment point.
The shotgun wears matte gray metalwork paired with black polymer furniture. The polymer forend has aggressive texturing and accessory slots, and the fixed synthetic stock includes a textured grip and Beretta-logo buttpad. Markings include BERETTA USA CORP. GALLATIN TN, MADE IN THE USA and the Beretta three-arrow logo on the receiver.
