The Classic Lightning Grade I Field configuration pairs 26-inch blued steel barrels with a ventilated rib for quick target acquisition. The monoblock is stamped "INVECTOR PLUS" and "26", and the barrels are marked "CITORI SPECIAL STEEL 12GA - 2 3/4 AND 3", confirming both the construction and chambering details.
It uses Browning's Invector-Plus interchangeable choke system, and this example includes an Improved Cylinder (IC) Invector-Plus tube. Chambers are cut for both 2 3/4 and 3-inch shells, offering flexibility for a wide range of 12-gauge loads.
The silver-finished steel receiver features factory machine-applied scroll engraving on the flanks and underside, with a gold Browning Buckmark on the trigger guard. Controls include a top-tang safety with integral barrel selector and a single selective trigger.
The walnut stock set presents cut checkering, a round-knob pistol grip, and a field-style forearm, capped with a ventilated recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.25 inches, providing a classic field fit.
