The M77 Mark II action features controlled-round feed with a full-length claw extractor and fixed ejector, paired with a 90-degree bolt lift for positive cycling. The bolt body is bright in-the-white, and the rifle uses a three-position safety for secure operation.
The 22 in steel sporter-profile barrel and blued steel receiver come without factory iron sights. Ruger’s integral scope-mount bases are machined into the receiver, providing a solid platform for optics when paired with the correct rings.
The walnut stock offers cut checkering for grip and includes sling swivel studs and a black rubber buttpad with the Ruger eagle medallion. Length of pull measures 13.5 in, and the rifle is configured for right-hand use.
Feeding is via an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, providing a 3-round capacity in .300 Rem. SAUM. This rifle was manufactured in the USA in 2003 and reflects the robust steel construction and clean blued finish associated with the M77 Mark II line.
