    This Belgian-made 1969 Browning BAR High-Power Type 1 Grade I stands out with its early scalloped receiver profile, factory scroll and game-scene engraving, and polished blue finish. It is chambered in .30-06 with a 22-inch barrel roll-marked PATENT PENDING and CALIBER .30-06 ONLY, and carries Belgian proof. The rifle retains its classic iron sights and comes fitted with a Browning 2–7x variable scope, offering a complete, period-correct configuration.

    This is an early BAR High-Power Rifle, Type 1, Grade I, built in Belgium in 1969. It features the classic scalloped receiver profile associated with the first-series guns and bears a Belgian proof mark. Factory scroll and game-scene engraving includes a stag/deer head motif on the left side of the receiver.

    The rifle is chambered in .30-06 and uses a semi-automatic, gas-operated system with a right-side, reciprocating charging handle. It has a 22-inch barrel, a 4+1 capacity, and the barrel is roll-marked PATENT PENDING and CALIBER .30-06 ONLY.

    Sighting equipment includes a ramped front sight and a folding rear leaf. The polished blue metal finish complements the checkered walnut furniture, which includes a pistol-grip stock and checkered forend. Sling swivel studs are installed, and the buttstock is capped with a black hard buttplate molded BROWNING. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.

    The rifle comes outfitted with a Browning 2–7x variable scope with a duplex reticle, mounted in ring mounts on receiver bases. This setup provides a ready-to-use configuration while preserving the factory iron sights.
