The FLDR15 uses FoldAR’s proprietary single-hinge system at the barrel nut to fold the barrel and handguard assembly. The mechanism housing is stamped "FOLDAR TNEP 2025," and the system retains AR-15 pattern magazine compatibility for straightforward usability.
The 16.5 in threaded barrel is fitted with a bronze-tone ported brake/compensator. A free-float M-LOK handguard with a continuous top Picatinny rail provides mounting space for accessories and the included Strike Industries flip-up iron sights. An M-LOK hand stop/short angled foregrip is installed for added control.
B5 Systems furniture includes an adjustable/collapsible carbine stock and a B5 pistol grip. Controls feature an ambidextrous safety and a standard magazine release. Length of pull is 13.0 in, and the receivers and handguard carry a uniform green finish.
