This Enhanced (555E) variant includes automatic ejectors, a single selective trigger, and a tang safety with integrated barrel selector. Manufactured by KOFS in Turkey and imported/marked by Savage Arms in Westfield, MA.

The Enhanced 555 stands out with factory-applied, full-coverage scrollwork on its silver-finished aluminum alloy receiver. Engraving is crisp and uniform across the receiver, adding a refined aesthetic to the lightweight frame. Receiver markings include Savage Arms – Westfield, MA and KOFS/Turkey stamps, consistent with its manufacture and import path.
The 16 gauge barrels are carbon steel and chrome-lined, with a vent rib and screw-in choke system for flexibility. Chambers are cut for 2 3/4 in. shells. Sight regulation is straightforward with a single brass bead at the muzzle and no mid-bead, as noted for this configuration.
Controls and operation are configured for practical field use: break-action over/under layout, a single selective trigger, and a tang-mounted safety that also serves as the barrel selector. The Enhanced (555E) variant is equipped with automatic ejectors as standard.
Stocked in walnut, the shotgun includes a checkered forend and a checkered walnut pistol grip for secure handling. A rubber recoil pad caps the buttstock. Additional details include serial markings located on the top tang and barrel monobloc, and a monobloc stamp marked "PT/FT." The gun is a full-size configuration and is made in Turkey by KOFS.
