Made in the USA, the slide is marked "FNH USA Fredericksburg, VA" and "MADE IN USA," and the pistol includes interchangeable backstraps and steel double-stack magazines.

The FNP-45 is a full-size .45 ACP built on a polymer frame with integrated steel frame rails and an external ring-style hammer. Its short-recoil, locked-breech operating system and DA/SA trigger provide a familiar, duty-ready manual of arms.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, and the manual safety with decocker allows both decocked carry or cocked-and-locked carry. Interchangeable backstraps let the shooter tailor grip size and reach.
The natural stainless steel slide pairs with a cold hammer forged, non-threaded barrel. Fixed 3-dot sights are fitted, with a rear sight that is drift-adjustable for windage. The two-tone stainless/black finish gives it a clean, utilitarian appearance.
An integral 1913-style accessory rail on the dustcover supports common weaponlights. The slide is marked "FNH USA Fredericksburg, VA" and "MADE IN USA." A visible serial-number plate is located in the dustcover under the rail, and the design uses steel double-stack magazines.
