Polish production at Radom’s Factory 11 places this M44 squarely in the post-WWII era, with Polish inspection proofs and the "11" in an oval on the barrel shank. The rifle also carries a CAI import mark indicating U.S. import and "Made in Poland." These markings clearly trace its origin and import path.
The carbine retains core M44 features, including the integral right-side folding cruciform spike bayonet and a fixed 5-round internal magazine compatible with stripper clips. The floorplate release is located inside the trigger guard, and the safety is the traditional cocking-piece type.
It wears a one-piece hardwood stock with two barrel bands and side sling slots, plus a short hardwood upper handguard. The receiver is blued steel, while the bolt body is left in the white with a knurled cocking piece and a straight bolt handle, reflecting typical Polish M44 configuration.
Sighting is via iron sights: a hooded post front and a tangent rear ladder. The 20.25-inch barrel and 13.5-inch length of pull keep the carbine compact and handy while maintaining the classic carbine profile.
