    What’s Included

    • Winchester Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine rifle chambered in .25-20 Win

This carbine configuration pairs a 20" round steel barrel with a full-length tubular magazine secured by two barrel bands, delivering the classic handling profile of the 1892. It retains its blued finish on steel receiver and barrel, with a straight-grip walnut buttstock and matching walnut fore-end. Length of pull measures 12.75".

The action is the John M. Browning-designed dual vertical locking-lug system in a top-eject, open-top receiver. It uses an external hammer with a serrated spur for confident thumb purchase. Capacity is stated as 10+1 in .25-20 Winchester.

Sighting equipment includes a fixed front sight and a carbine-style folding ladder/elevator rear sight suited to the saddle carbine layout. Factory markings include the Winchester WP in-circle proofs on both the barrel and receiver ring, the barrel address behind the rear sight, and the tang legend "MODEL 1892 —WINCHESTER— TRADE MARK REG. IN U.S. PAT. OFF."

As a 1914 Winchester produced in the United States, this example shows staple holes for the saddle ring on the left receiver wall, with the ring not present. The serial number is located on the receiver bottom ahead of the lever.
