This Ithaca LSA-55 Standard is a Finnish-made bolt-action rifle chambered in 6mm Remington, built on the Tikkakoski action and imported by Ithaca. It features a 22-inch sporter barrel with a crowned muzzle, a blued steel receiver, and a Monte Carlo walnut stock with cut checkering. Two-piece Weaver-style bases are installed with 1 in rings, and the rifle retains its internal 4+1 box magazine with a hinged floorplate.

Built by Tikkakoski in Finland and imported by Ithaca, this LSA-55 carries clear markings including "ITHACA GUN CO., INC., ITHACA, N.Y., MADE IN FINLAND" and "CAL. 6mm REM." The action is a right-hand, two-lug design with a polished round bolt knob, paired with a sliding safety.
The rifle uses a 22-inch sporter-contour steel barrel with a crowned muzzle. The barrel is drilled and tapped just ahead of the receiver, and it has a ramped front sight base. No front or rear sights are installed on this example. The bore condition is excellent, with a clean, mirror finish and sharp rifling.
Optics mounting is straightforward thanks to the receiver’s integral scope-mount platform with screw holes. Two-piece Weaver-style bases are already installed, and 1 in scope rings are included, allowing easy setup with compatible scopes.
The walnut Monte Carlo stock features cut checkering for grip, a pistol-grip cap with medallion, and a black recoil pad with a white line spacer. Sling-swivel studs are installed. Length of pull measures 12.75 inches.
Feeding is via an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, providing a 4+1 capacity in 6mm Rem. The blued steel receiver and barrel match the rifle’s classic sporting configuration.
