The .45-70 Govt. chambering is matched to an 18.43 in round, blued steel barrel with a 1:20 RH twist. Sighting is handled by a ramped front with brass bead and a semi-buckhorn rear that is elevator-adjustable, giving a clear and traditional sight picture.
The dual-loading system combines a receiver side gate with a removable inner magazine tube, offering flexibility at the range or in the field. Magazine capacity is 4+1 in .45-70. An in-hammer transfer bar provides an added safety layer while maintaining the familiar lever-action manual of arms.
American walnut is used for both the pistol-grip stock and fore-end, with checkering for positive purchase. Sling swivel studs and a ventilated rubber recoil pad add practical utility. The length of pull is 14.25 in, with an overall length of approximately 37.5 in and a weight of about 7.08 lb for balanced handling.
The steel receiver wears a blued finish and is drilled and tapped for Weaver 63B scope bases, with filler screws installed from the factory.
