The ZOM 451 uses a straight-pull bolt-action with a bolt-mounted safety lever and a detachable 7-round steel magazine for a 7+1 capacity. This configuration is purpose-built for rimfire sporting use.
The 23-inch steel barrel has a sporter profile with a recessed crown and an unthreaded muzzle. Sighting is via a ramped blade front and an adjustable tangent rear sight with a sliding elevator. Metal surfaces carry a traditional blued finish.
The walnut sporter stock features a straight comb, pistol grip, and functional checkering for a secure hold. Fixed sling swivel loops are installed, and the hard buttplate includes a checkered "Z" medallion detail. Length of pull measures 14.5 inches.
The blued steel receiver is cut with factory rimfire dovetail grooves for mounting compatible rings. Czech rampant lion proofs with a "99" date code are present on the receiver and barrel, and the rifle bears the C.A.I. GEORGIA, VT import mark, reflecting its limited U.S. importation during the late 1990s.
