This Remington 870 Express Magnum is a 20-gauge, U.S.-made pump-action configured for 2 3/4- and 3-inch shells and built on a steel receiver with a matte blued finish. It features a 28-inch ventilated-rib barrel threaded for Rem Choke tubes with an Improved Cylinder choke installed. Hardwood furniture with pressed checkering and a Remington-branded rubber recoil pad complete the setup.

The Express Magnum series marking is roll-stamped on the receiver, and the barrel is roll-marked "Remington Arms Company Inc., Ilion, NY" with chamber markings for "20GA. for 2 3/4 or 3." Proof, inspection, and date stamps are present near the barrel extension. The receiver and barrel wear a matte blued finish.
The 28-inch ventilated-rib barrel is threaded for the Rem Choke system, and this example comes with an Improved Cylinder choke installed. The rib carries a red fiber-optic element with a steel front bead for a clear sight picture along the rib.
Furniture consists of a hardwood stock and sporter forend, both with pressed checkering. A Remington-branded rubber recoil pad is fitted at the butt. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
The steel receiver houses the pump-action mechanism with a cross-bolt safety. A standard 870 magazine and takedown cap is fitted (no extension), and this shotgun is currently configured for a 2+1 capacity.
