Browning BT-99 Two-Barrel Set 12 Gauge, Two 34 in Vent-Rib Barrels, Fixed Full & Improved Modified, 1970s Engraved
This 1970s Browning BT-99 Two-Barrel Set pairs classic trap configuration with a matched pair of 34 in Special Steel barrels and factory scroll engraving. Both barrels and the receiver/forend carry matching assembly numbers, and each rib is outfitted with a white front bead and a small mid-bead. The gun retains a high-polish blue finish and comes housed in a Browning fitted hard case. An adjustable buttplate system with a Kick-EEZ recoil pad and an adjustable Gray coil butt pad adds practical stock adjustability.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Specific Condition Notes: The action drops open with almost no tension, and the locking lug shows ample life. The ejector fires slightly early and will need adjustment; when ejecting, shells may catch on the receiver and not fully clear. There is very slight right-hand cast-off, and the stock has been mildly scalloped for a right-handed shooter. Blemishing is present on the receiver, and there are scratches and handling marks on the stock and forend.
