The Apocalypse Commander pairs a Damascus-steel slide with Cabot's Heritage finish and a billet 416 stainless frame that incorporates an accessory rail. The slide is detailed with fish-scale cocking serrations front and rear, top serrations, and Damascus-pattern accents at the muzzle and rear, giving the pistol both traction and a distinct visual signature.
Built on the 1911 platform in single-action-only, it features a flat, serrated trigger, a skeletonized rowel hammer, and an ambidextrous thumb safety with a beavertail grip safety. Fine checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing, along with textured G10 grips bearing the Cabot crest medallion, provide a confident, repeatable grip.
The Commander-length 4.25" barrel uses a GI-style bushing and plug recoil system. Cabot equips this model with its internal pivoting extractor and fits the slide stop to reduce the risk of slide-stop contact marks during reassembly.
Sights are practical and straightforward: a red fiber-optic front and a fixed, serrated black rear. Cabot claims factory-tested accuracy of under 1.5 inches at 25 meters. Capacity is 10+1, and two 10-round steel magazines are included. Made in the USA.
