Built on a stamped steel receiver with a black finish, the AP5-M follows the MP5K-format with a compact footprint and a rear pistol endcap featuring a fixed sling loop. The top of the receiver is smooth with no optics rail, and the welded cocking tube maintains the classic profile.
The 4.6 in chrome-moly-vanadium steel barrel is cold hammer-forged and features a fluted chamber. This semi-automatic pistol uses the original-style roller-delayed blowback action for dependable cycling in a compact package.
Controls are true to the pattern: a paddle-style magazine release for quick changes, a left-side charging handle with a knurled knob and locking notch, and a manual safety. The K-style polymer handguard and polymer grip module provide a durable, serviceable interface.
Sighting is via a hooded front post and a rear diopter drum adjustable for windage and elevation. Overall length is 12.79 in and weight is 4.43 lb. Capacity is 30+1 with the included steel magazine. Import and proof markings include Made in Turkey, Century Arms, Inc., Georgia, VT, and the MKE logo cartouche. The serial number is located on the top of the receiver.
