This Taurus GX4 (mfg part number 1-GX4M931) is the base black, non-optics-cut configuration of Taurus's micro-compact double-stack 9mm. It delivers 11+1 capacity in a compact 6.05 in overall length and 18.5 oz unloaded weight. A DLC-coated stainless 3 in barrel pairs with a gas-nitride black alloy-steel slide and a full steel sight set. Assembled in Bainbridge, Georgia with Brazilian manufacture, the GX4 earned NASGW/POMA Caliber Awards for Best New Handgun and Best New Overall Product in 2021.

The GX4 uses a micro-compact double-stack format to provide 11+1 capacity while maintaining a slim 1.08 in width and 4.4 in height. Overall length is 6.05 in, making it easy to carry without giving up on-round count.
Its 3 in stainless steel barrel is DLC-coated, and the alloy-steel slide wears a gas-nitride black finish. An internal stainless-steel chassis anchors the polymer grip module, and aggressive molded texturing supports secure handling. Front and rear cocking serrations aid in slide manipulation.
The striker-fired system features a flat-face trigger with an integral safety blade and a short, tactile reset. Safety features include a trigger safety, internal striker block, and a loaded chamber viewport.
Steel sights come standard, with a white-dot steel front and a serrated, drift-adjustable rear. A screwdriver-actuated takedown pin simplifies field-stripping. Markings indicate Made in Brazil (frame molding) and Assembled in USA (slide), and this SKU is the base black/black, non-optics-cut configuration.
