What’s Included
- Ruger SR1911 .45 ACP pistol
The Government-length 5 inch barrel uses a traditional barrel bushing and GI plug, delivering the classic 1911 setup. The stainless slide and non-railed stainless frame wear a uniform bead-blast finish. A flat, checkered mainspring housing and smooth front strap pair with double-diamond checkered hardwood grips inlaid with Ruger medallions.
The Series-70-style fire control system employs a titanium firing pin and heavy spring. Controls include an extended magazine release, a skeletonized aluminum trigger with overtravel screw, a skeletonized rowel hammer, and both a thumb safety and a grip safety.
The slide is configured with rear-only cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and an internal extractor. A visual inspection port on the barrel hood provides a quick chamber check.
Sighting is handled by fixed 3-dot Novak-style units: a dovetailed white-dot front and a low-profile rear that is windage adjustable. This SR1911 accepts standard 1911 parts and is made in the United States, with this example dated to 2012.
