This BFR Long Cylinder is purpose-built for the .45-70 Government, combining a five-round, single-action-only mechanism with a 7.5-inch, stress-relieved stainless steel barrel. The unfluted extra-long cylinder and full-length under-barrel ejector-rod housing support the long, heavy cartridge in a durable, properly scaled package.
The revolver is finished in brushed stainless throughout, including the frame, cylinder, and receiver, with black checkered rubber grips for a secure hold. Sights consist of a screw-secured black blade front and a black adjustable rear for precise zeroing with various loads.
The topstrap is drilled and tapped ahead of the rear sight for a scope base, giving the shooter mounting flexibility. The serial number is marked on the topstrap ahead of the cylinder window and matches the label on the factory box.
