The BDS9 Commander pairs a 4.25-inch barrel with a double-stack frame for a 17+1 capacity in 9mm Luger. A flared magwell supports quick magazine changes, and the barrel hood is marked 'NHC 9MM NM' as noted by the factory.
Nighthawk's IOS cut allows optic plates to be swapped while maintaining zero, and this pistol includes the IOS plate for the Trijicon RMR/SRO footprint. The rear sight is a black notch on the removable plate, matched with a red fiber-optic front sight.
The tri-cut slide features front and rear cocking serrations, top rib serrations, and lightening windows, finished in a matte dark tone. The frame matches in a matte dark finish and uses a smooth dustcover without an accessory rail.
Controls and ergonomics include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory pad, and a flat, vertically serrated trigger. Aggressive raised 'stud' texture grip panels with Nighthawk bird medallions provide a confident hold. Made in the USA in Berryville, Arkansas.
