Its gas-operated action uses a self-cleaning piston with a compensating exhaust valve to regulate cycling. Controls are optimized for fast handling, including an enlarged bolt handle, an enlarged bolt-release, and a widened, chamfered loading port.
The 19 in barrel accepts Beretta Mobil-pattern choke tubes and is fitted with a flush tube from the factory. An extended magazine tube runs to the muzzle for increased on-board capacity. A QD sling socket is integrated into the barrel and magazine clamp.
Target acquisition is straightforward with a ghost-ring rear sight and a protected red fiber-optic front. A receiver-top 7-slot Picatinny rail provides a secure mounting surface, and the slim, textured polymer forend with M-LOK-style slots offers practical accessory mounting options. Overall length is approximately 38 in with a length of pull of 13.0 in, and weight is about 7.1 lb.
