The PC Carbine's takedown system uses a locking ring for quick separation of the barrel/forend assembly from the receiver/stock, aiding compact storage and transport. The receiver is marked "RUGER NEWPORT, NH USA," and carries an integral full-length Picatinny rail for optics or accessories, complemented by a short accessory rail section on the forend and a sling swivel stud.
The barrel is a heavy-profile, fluted unit with a threaded muzzle capped by a knurled thread protector. This setup provides durability with reduced forward weight and ready compatibility with standard muzzle devices. Sights are a protected front blade paired with a ghost-ring/aperture rear for fast target acquisition.
The carbine uses a blowback, semi-automatic action and a detachable box magazine system with an interchangeable magazine-well insert. Capacity is 10+1 in 9mm Luger. The magazine release offers both push-button and paddle-style actuation, and the charging handle is reversible and currently installed on the right side.
The black synthetic stock includes modular length-of-pull spacers to fine-tune fit, with a listed LOP of 12.75 inches. A cross-bolt safety provides straightforward control placement. The overall finish is matte, and the rifle was manufactured in 2018 in the USA.
